Avocado Toast | Umami Crisp Truffle

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of country bread or sourdough bread
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Umami Crisp (Original Mild for a gourmet and balanced brunch, Truffle for a more refined version)
  • Optional: a few cilantro or parsley leaves

Direction

  • Toast the bread.
  • Prepare the avocado (Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Mash it in a bowl with a fork. Add the lemon juice, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to obtain a smooth purée, keeping a few chunks for texture).
  • Assemble the toast (Generously spread the avocado purée over the slices of toasted bread. Place 1 tbsp of Umami Crisp in the center of each toast. Spread lightly so the crunchy sauce flavors the entire surface).
